Jack Wardlaw

This Mississippi native began his journalistic career at The Chicago City News Bureau and then The Meridian Star in Mississippi. He began working for The New Orleans States-Item in 1961 and became The Times-Picayune’s capitol bureau chief in 1980. He began covering Louisiana politics full-time from 1971 until his retirement in 2002.
