Billy “Coach” Montgomery
Coach is a former educator who was a member of the La. House of Representatives from 1988 until 2008. He began his educational career in 1960 as a teacher and coach, an assistant principal from 1970-1982, and a principal from 1982-1988. During his tenure in the legislature Mr. Montgomery worked on and supported many pieces of legislation that related to taxes, gambling, education and state sheriffs.
