Donald G. “Don” Kelly
Don Kelly is an attorney from Natchitoches Parish. For 20 years (1975 to 1995) he served as a La. State Senator. While in the Senate he was a member of the Judiciary Committee B, Judiciary Committee A, Joint Budget Committee, Natural Resource Committee, and the Senate Finance Committee. From 1980 to 1987 Mr. Kelly was chairman of the Senate Committee on Transportation, and was the Senate Floor Leader for two terms under Governor Edwards and one term under Governor Roemer.
