George Dement
Mr. Dement served the city of Bossier as mayor from 1989 until 2005. Mayor Dement encouraged and welcomed the river boat gaming industry to Bossier and was able to dedicate the additional funds for the CenturyLink Center, the Arthur Ray Teague Parkway and the Benton Road overpass. When Mayor Dement left office, Bossier City was recognized as the safest, cleanest, and fastest growing city in the state.
