Harley Bozeman
Harley Bozeman was one of the closest friends and political associates of Huey and Earl Long. In 1928, he was elected to the State Legislature and introduced the legislation that provided free schoolbooks for La. schools. He served as the chairman of the State Tax Commission and was later elected to the Winnfield City Council. He wrote a column for the Winn Parish Enterprise and was quoted frequently in T. Harry Williams’ biography on Huey Long.
