Harold McSween

Harold B. McSween

Born in Alexandria, Harold McSween was first elected to the U.S. House of Rep. In 1958. He was defeated in the next Democratic primary by Earl K. Long who died shortly after the election. McSween was chosen as the nominee by the Democratic District Committee and was elected to his second term without opposition in the general election.
