Ralph Perlman

Mr. Perlman went to work for Governor McKeithen in 1964 as the governor’s executive assistant to the Commissioner of Administration. In 1967 he became the state’s budget director and held that position for 21 years. In 1988, Mr. Perlman became the special assistant for finance under governors Roemer, Edwards and Foster. Governor Foster appointed him as Secretary of the La. Gaming Control Board in 1997 and he served for five years. In 2002, then University of La. System President Sally Clausen hired him as a special assistant.
