William Henson Moore III

Henson Moore served as Congressman for the 6th District from 1975 to 1987. He was the first Republican elected to represent the 6th District in the 20th Century. In 1989, under President G. W. Bush, he served as Deputy Secretary of the U.S. Department of Energy. In 1992 he moved his office to the White House where he served on President Bush’s personal staff as Assistant to the President and as Deputy Chief of Staff.
