William J. Jefferson
Serving his fifth term in Congress, Jefferson works on the Ways and Means, and is an active participant in the Democratic Party leadership and in developing legislative strategy. As a State Senator, he was twice named “Legislator of the Year” by the prestigious Alliance of Good Government.
